Generally, the place was pleasant and had pleasant staff at all- except the porter. The classic queen room was fashionable with the laundry, huge bath, a view overlooking the lawns. We had very quick check-in on arrival.

The room was very comfortable and was a very good size. The price was excellent for the quality of accomodation and the choice at breakfast was very good.

The bars, restaurant and lounge areas are very good and diverse. Rooms which face the golf course are also very pleasant. And it does have good links to both Motorways and Durham City.
I thought that Superior and DeLuxe rooms should have bath robes and much better toiletries. Maybe restaurant areas could be open a little later.

I am the new President of Soroptimist International Durham. My Charter Dinner was on the evening of 13th May at the Ramside Hotel. Although I live quite local I decided to stay with my partner because we had guests staying at the hotel from other parts of the country. Your staff at my Charter Dinner did us proud, the organisation was succinct. John and I found our room to be stylish and so very comfortable, and the hotel was the exact ambience I needed to make my night an absolutely fantastic one! Thank you very much!
There was nothing I didnt like about the hotel. I shall ensure si Durham continue to have their fortnightly Supper Meetings there for the remainder of my Presidential year.
